The 2025 GMC Yukon is a large SUV with seating for up to eight people in its huge, roomy cabin. It’s perfect for everything from short runs to the store or long-distance road trips. As your GMC dealer, we’re going to tell you about some of its exceptional features.

Three Engine Options

The 2025 Yukon has plenty of engine choices, allowing you to decide the level of power you want. The standard engine is the 5.3L V8 that provides 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. If you want even more power, the 6.2L V8 delivers 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. These two engines are gasoline-powered and include Dynamic Fuel Management technology, which increases engine power and provides greater fuel economy than other engines.

If you want the ultimate in power, choose the Duramax 3.0L Turbo Diesel, which supplies 305 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. This engine features GMC’s Active Thermal Management, which uses a rotary valve system to precisely target coolant to the areas that need it the most. Its intelligent temperature control system can deliver excess engine heat to the cabin to make it even cozier on cold days or enhance performance by rapidly cooling the engine.

SuperCruise and Trailering Package

These systems are either already installed or available, depending on the trim you choose. SuperCruise uses advanced cameras, continuously updated GPS, and LiDAR mapping to allow you to drive hands-free on over 750,000 miles of roads in the USA and Canada. Once you engage SuperCruise, it will steer and keep you positioned in your lane. It can also accelerate or brake when needed and can change lanes if needed to pass a slower-moving vehicle.

The trailing system adds an integrated brake controller for brake force signaling to the trailer brake systems and Hitch View, which provides a close-up view of the hitch on your front screen for easier lining up. Additional features include Transparent Trailer View, which turns the trailer transparent on your front screen so you can see anything behind it, and Trailer Reverse Trajectory, which provides guidelines on the screen to track the trailer angle when you reverse.

Plenty of Space

We mentioned the Yukon’s large, inviting cabin above, so let’s look closer at what you’ll enjoy. Its three rows of seats can accommodate eight people with a second-row bench seat or seven if you replace the bench seat with two captain’s chairs. Front passengers have 42.3′ of headroom and 44.5″ of legroom, while rear seat passengers can enjoy 38.9″ of headroom and 42.0″ of legroom.
